Join us as an artist or a guest at the Rotary Club of Hobart Charity Art Show, one of Tasmania’s largest art exhibitions.
In it’s 35th year and featuring 400+ of Hobart’s most established and emerging artists, the Art Show is an institution in Hobart cultural landscape.
All exhibited artworks are available for purchase, with 15% commission on each sale going toward Rotary Hobart’s charitable fundraising alongside auctions, raffles and special prizes.
How it Works
Rotary Art Show is a charity fundraising event.
Over a weekend at the start of Spring, the art show is an opportunity for local artists to connect with local art buyers. Open to all art styles and with category awards celebrating diversity and quality, the exhibition is as eclectic as it is impressive.
The Charity Art Show provides new and established artists with an excellent opportunity to exhibit and sell their works, whilst helping raise funds for Rotary causes.
The Story of the Art Show
Exhibiting Tasmanian Talent since 1989.
Rotary Hobart Sail Day has become an annual Hobart institution. First started in 1989 by a group of Rotarians wanting to share their passion for sailing with the local community, the event has grown year on year.
Since its inception, Sail Day has raised over $1,000,000. Your continued support means Rotary can continue to contribute and make a real impact for local and international goodwill projects.
The Rotary Club of Hobart Sail Day Committee would like to thank the following for their valued assistance; all boat owners, skippers and crew, local yacht clubs, Tasmanian Bakeries, PFD Food Services, Salamanca Fresh, Coca-Cola Amatil, T-Bone Brewery, Frank’s Cider, Robert Oatley Wines, Small Batch Distillers, the Mercury and Before Creative and all the sponsors of prizes for the raffle. We also acknowledge the Carlton Park Surf Life Saving Club for their support on the day.
